I spent the morning with Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer talking about Democrats' Make It In America plan, and my legislation to create manufacturing jobs: the Market Based Manufacturing Incentives Act. I'm following up this effort will a new bill that I have just introduced: the Scaling Up Manufacturing Act. We should be working every single day to retain innovative, growing, American businesses. Unfortunately, the only job Republicans in Congress are truly interested in creating is one for Mitt Romney. Folks are more interested in positive solutions that will turn our economy around than the 31st vote to repeal the Affordable Care Act.

Now numbering more than 17 million people, the AAPI community has become the fastest-growing racial group in the United States, and we have many accomplishments to celebrate and a truly diverse history to honor.
